I began writing in 2008 to fill a void in my life. Living in a one-bedroom cabin in the Helena Valley gave me time to write.
While writing the first volume of Storm Warrior, I introduced a bounty hunter by the name of Huntley Porter who pursued Charles Crawford, aka, Storm Warrior, across the West. I liked the bounty hunter character and decided to make him a U.S. Deputy Marshal and continue with two series.
I continued writing the story of Storm Warrior and the Hunt-U.S. Marshal series for several years and soon had several thousand pages written and saved on my computer.
My wife asked why I didn’t publish the book. Reluctantly, I explained to her that I didn’t know how to publish a book. I contacted a publisher who wanted a large sum of money to publish my book.
My wife, Carole, explained to our neighbor lady that I was trying to publish a book, and the neighbor lady said, “Oh, my father publishes books.”
She gave me his email, and I sent him a message that he kindly replied to. He was in Arizona and would be coming to visit his daughter next month and would come over and help me publish my first book. His name is Dave Folsom, and he has written many books. He explained how to do it and helped me publish Storm Warrior Vol. 1. I’ve been writing and publishing books since 2012. It’s important to read the series in order. Each volume starts where the previous volume ends.
Currently, I have 75 Volumes of each series. I was challenged to write a different story, and my brother-in-law gave me the basis for the story. I created a book entitled The Gray Brigade. The story of a man in a nursing home.
I was invited to join a group of Western Fiction writers by writing a short story to be published in a book. Eight authors added a short story and created Wanted and Wanted II.
