The trip to America across the Atlantic was an adventure for Tyson, Blank, Prudence, Armin, Erick, and Gerda. It was the first time for all but Charles and Liam. Charles arrived in New York with the foals and grape plants without any problems. Eric and Gerda begin schooling with Judith, while Charles sets Armin and Eric up with jobs at the carriage and wagon shop and the brewery. Prudence is introduced to Attorney Horatio Brummel, and she is hired to act as a legal secretary. Blank asks Charles to find him a new job within the organization so he doesn’t have to travel as much. Tyson is in for the adventure of his life when he joins Charles in pursuit of killers who shot five ranchers and hired hands and stole hundreds of cattle.
