Hunt sends his men to Utah to find the bandits that robbed a stagecoach and killed all the passengers, the driver, and a shotgun guard. Hunt gets a telegram from Duke asking for help. They have discovered that the bandits they are encountering are a small army led by a man they call Satan. Hunt arrives with the men in time for the multiple assaults on the stronghold that the Marshals have set up for defense on a mountaintop. Returning the remnants of the prisoners results in an escape that puts two Deputies in the hospital. One deputy may not survive. Hunt discovers a young couple, and the wife is in labor, and he helps them to the hospital just in time and offers the husband a job at his ranch on Green River.
