Hunt’s life continues a hectic course of trying to balance business with tracking down bad people. Hunt and his men end up in court fighting a lawsuit brought on by Jason Fellows, the newspaper writer who claims Horse tried to kill him. Hunt takes the family to Green River for a weekend so Beth can see the new hotel and food store, and Hunt is forced to step in to help solve a problem before it gets out of hand. Jason Fellows decides to use this as an example of how the law abuses its privileges to do as it pleases, with no regard for others. Hunt sends his men on a mission of mercy. A lawman needs help to hold off a lynching for a man he has arrested.
